Acu- Drive/ Pumps | The Acu-Drive allows us to control the speed or RPM's of a Motor. During the normal business hours of a pool area the pool must have a proper turn over rate of 6 hours, but during the off hours or when the pool is not open for use the Acu-drive allows us to decrease the flow and RPMs of the motor, allowing significant cost savings on the electricity of motors 5 h.p. and larger. Anything smaller than a 5 h.p. motor we would not recommend the Acu-drive, it would be cost effective to just replace the pump with a newer energy saving motor.
